Conserving Northshore forests for our communities
Our mission and work
Our mission
The People’s Forest Foundation is a non-profit entity that empowers individuals to protect and conserve Louisiana’s heartland forests by creating spaces for both nature and people to flourish.
How we do it
We empower landowners by connecting them with professional conservationists and native plant landscapers to help enrich their properties and create vital wildlife habitat. Additionally, we offer educational nature tours and lectures for the public, showcasing the work of artists and scientists engaged with nature.
Why we do it
We hope to conserve native forests, protect wildlife habitats, cultivate your curiosity about the natural world, and foster your wellness by ensuring that the Northshore forests endure. We aim to nurture a community of people that cares about conservation.
