Meet the Team
Jacob Bopp
President:
Jacob Bopp, a dedicated conservation biologist, has spent years safeguarding endangered and threatened species across the Western U.S. Now, he's bringing his expertise home to Louisiana, driven by a vision for the Northshore: a place where people and nature thrive in a symbiotic union. As the Longleaf Pine Restoration Program Manager for The Land Trust for Louisiana, Jacob is actively working with landowners to restore vital longleaf pine forests. He's passionate about uniting his community to protect Louisiana's irreplaceable natural heritage.
Native Plant Landscaper:
Greg Gian Caprancia
Driven by a passion for the environment, Greg transitioned from a nursing career to founding Millefleur Native Landscapes. His journey began as a beekeeper, where he recognized the critical importance of Louisiana's native flowering plants and biodiversity. From small landscape jobs and farm maintenance, his expertise expanded to encompass native plant landscaping forestry work. Greg is a Louisiana Master Naturalist, holds a Certified Prescribed Burn License, and is a certified native plant landscaper through the Louisiana Native Plant Initiative, while actively studying for his Horticulturist and Arborist licenses.
